I'm old now! :D

I turn 25 today and it's been a rather odd experience. I guess this is the first year that I wasn't totally excited to be celebrating my birthday but by the time I woke up this morning I was ridiculously excited XD
Naturally, being older, the festivities are a bit looser in schedule. I woke up and started with dessert because I'm an adult and fuck to police XD Yesterday when I was out bday shopping with my dad we ate lunch at Longhorns and I decided to get their dessert sampler as my birthday-not-cake. The sampler comes with a piece of chocolate stampede(best chococake ever D8<), a slice of cheesecake with strawberry sauce, and what looked to be half of an apple caramel goldrush. I fully expected the goldrush to be more applepie-esque so I decided to have it as my breakfast with just a small drizzle of the caramel sauce. DO NOT eat the caramel apple goldrush for breakfast! It was vastly sweeter than anything even related to apple pie XD It's basically a purse of really nice pastry dough with a butter brown sugar sauce inside and some apples, topped with a caramel drizzle. It was very good but much too sweet to pass as a sweetened fruit breakfast X3
The dessert also came with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, which my server never told me....so my ice cream was well refrigerated allllll niiiiight long 8D lol I promptly stirred it well and popped it into the freezer when I saw that this morning. It's fine now but perhaps a bit more icy than if it had been frozen when we got home :/

I got a lot of my gifts through the month rather than all at once so my mother and I decided to place everything together for me to open the few things I hadn't recieved yet so i could really see everything together, these are the things I took photos of, of course. I still have another pair of earrings and an herbal neck wrap thingy but you know how mail-order items are X3

So far the only downside of the day is that my brother has to work so he can't hang out and ALL FOUR of my cats are sick with some kind of head cold. We've been having to give all of them pills and keep an eye on them and feed them special and it's been a chore, though not too big of a deal.

As it stands now, I snacked on my dessert as lunch and now I'm starting making dinner with my mom. I like to cook so I don't mind making dinner and since mom has been playing pet-vet all day she hasn't had the chance to take her afternoon nap like she usually does so I don't want to leave everything on her.
I might upload a pic of my whole doll collection tonight, as it grew again when I got Avea yesterday but other than that I got roller coaster tycoon and I've never played it before so while I did that all morning I expect to do that all night unless my skype call with my bffs happens XD
